About COPE
COPE was first established in 1993. Since this time it has grown substantially and was the first
occupational health provider to offer customers a one-stop, multi-disciplinary solution to managing
the business inefficiencies brought about through work related ill-health. COPE is now one of the
UK’s Top 10 Occupational Health providers.
The company head office is located in Beeston, Nottingham, and incorporates an
Occupational Health and
Physiotherapy Clinic
for local businesses and private patients.
COPE is proud of its expertise; all clinicians are fully qualified within their own profession - mostly graduates
with two seconded to undertake PhDs. There is a very strong emphasis on learning, personal development and keeping
abreast of latest technologies to meet the market environment.
In 2004, COPE achieved the
ISO 9001 quality
management systems accreditation.
COPE is well recognised within its field. Its management are regularly referred to for expert opinion by
publishers of text books, media, and organisations such as the HSE and IOSH.
"My aim is for every COPE customer to see a
direct link between profitability and the improved
health and wellbeing of its workforce"
James Bowden
Managing Director.

support you in tackling any underlying, long term, work related causes of sickness absence

Providing Added Value
COPE supports all customers who are new to proactive OH services by providing exactly
what they’ve asked for and identified as a need. We will always recommend and make known
to them the minimum key services they may wish to consider or ask for (now or in the future)
to meet legislative best practice or to improve business performance.
